Welcome to Fuzzy Tales!, continued...

In July 2007, we had a change in our Board of Directors and subsequently changed our intake policies.  The new Board decided to get back to its original focus, but this time partnering with the City of Garland Animal Services (GAS).  Since April, 2007 we have rescued 92 cats from GAS.  All but eight have been adopted to date.

Changing our policies has made us more efficient and we will finally have the time to launch some of the efforts, programs, and projects we've been waiting to do.  The first of which is a newsletter we're calling Fuzzy Tales.  Now we'll be able to communicate our news and events to you — our volunteers, adopters, rescue colleagues, and other friends.  Enjoy!

NBCR Logo New Beginnings Cat Rescue (NBCR) is a non-profit, volunteer-only cat rescue group.  With respect and compassion for all cats, NBCR promotes lifelong relationships between people and animals, providing foster care for each precious life until adopted into a good home as an indoor cat. Our mission is to work with the public, other rescue groups, and animal control to save homeless cats in our community.
