Welcome to Fuzzy Tales!
Dear Friends,
New Beginnings volunteers have been maintaining our PetSmart
adoption center since July, 2004 when the store first
opened its doors. Previously operating under a different group
name, five members came together to form a new group and in
September, 2005 New Beginnings Cat Rescue received its non-profit
501c3 status.
NBCR originally formed to partner with Dallas
Animal Services (DAS) in an effort to adopt cats out of their
shelters. While trying to get this new program off the
ground with DAS, we started taking cats from our vets, other
rescue groups, and the general public. Before we knew it
we had a waiting list of over 300 cats waiting to come to the
adoption center. More >

New
Beginnings Cat Rescue (NBCR) is a non-profit,
volunteer-only cat rescue group. With respect and
compassion for all cats, NBCR promotes lifelong
relationships between people and animals, providing foster
care for each precious life until adopted into a good home
as an indoor cat. Our mission is to work with the public,
other rescue groups, and animal control to save homeless
cats in our community.
